KOVA Technologies didn't start as KOVA Technologies. Here's how we got here.

2024–25

Early SAM Group concept

What would become KOVA Technologies began as SAM Group, with a much larger technical ambition.

Planning

SAM OS

SAM OS — a large operating-system project — became the original major technical goal, planned over months with a group of pioneers.

Turning point

A change in direction

The project was eventually put aside after it became clear the team didn't share the same direction and mindset.

Evolution

SAM Group became KOVA Technologies

Rather than stop, the project evolved. The focus shifted from years of planning a massive system to building and shipping something useful.

Product era

Kovalent

Kovalent became the flagship product — the practical expression of KOVA Technologies' vision.
